Sherry Onions
1/4 cup Butter or margarine

5 medium Onions, , sliced thin

1/2 tsp Sugar

1/2 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Freshly ground Black Pepper

1/2 cup Sherry

1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese

1 dash Ground nutmeg

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions, sugar, Salt and pepper. Cook until onions are soft, about 5 to 8 minutes. Add sherry. Increase heat and cook quickly about 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and nutmeg. Serve at once with grilled steak.
